Squadron Lineage: Designated 3704th Basic Military Training Squadron and organized on March 1, 1953. Re-designated 324th Basic Training Squadron on Aug. 25, 1992, and as the 324th Training Squadron on April 1, 1994. The 324th was deactivated on May 30, 2014, and reactivated on June 22, 2016.

Shield: “Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum” -- If you want peace prepare for war.

Mission Statement: We make Airmen and Guardians.

Vision: Be the unit Military Training Instructors want to belong in.

Trainees are provided their correct mailing address in the first day or two of BMT. This is the only time they can use the camera feature on their phone during BMT; they will be permitted to photograph a pre-printed address card to send to family.

Please do not send any “care packages” (i.e. food, candy, or any type of snacks), however, letters are appreciated.
