In the event of severe inclement weather, graduation events will take place at graduating trainees’ respective Airmen Training Complex (ATC) and/or Recruit Housing & Training (RH&T) Squadron areas, and communication updates will be made on the BMT Facebook page.

Depending on the severity of the inclement weather, an initial decision on whether or not families are authorized at the Squadrons of their graduating trainees will be made no later than 0630 on the day of graduation. This decision will be included in the announcements on the BMT Facebook page.  ***Note: For safety reasons due to inclement weather unpredictability, subsequent decisions to hold graduation events at the graduating Squadrons may be made after 0630. These decisions will be included in the announcements on the BMT Facebook page.

The 37th Training Wing Public Affairs team will make every attempt to live-stream the graduation of ONE Squadron to the Pfingston Reception Center.

If families are permitted to attend graduation events in Squadron areas, following the tapping out of their Airman/Guardian they must promptly exit the area.  Graduated Airmen are permitted to exit the area with their families.  **Note: The Squadron areas are active training environments, and family’s compliance to leave the area is required for training to fully resume.

If families are not permitted to attend graduation events in the Squadron areas, graduates will proceed to the Pfingston Reception Center following their squadron ceremony once the inclement weather has subsided, to reunite with their visitors.
