Graduation Information

DAYS FOR BMT EVENTS

Basic Military Training events are held on Wednesdays and Thursdays at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The Airmen’s Run and Coin Ceremony & Retreat are held on Wednesdays at the Pfingston Reception Center, and graduation is on Thursdays at the parade field. American Sign Language Services Request

The 37th Training Wing provides reasonable accommodations upon request for Basic Military Training graduations within the 37th Training Wing. 

Please submit your request two weeks prior to your trainee/student's graduation.

Basic Military Training
An ASL interpreter will be provided for the Wednesday and Thursday events. Times for services provided are:
Wednesday: 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Seating:
For Wednesday the interpreter will meet you at the Pfingston Reception Center information desk at 7 a.m. and will accompany you throughout the morning. She/he will go wherever you choose to sit as families like to sit near their Airman's flight.
For Thursday we have will have designated seating for the family. This location is preferable for the interpreter as it's near one of the loudspeakers. It also allows the family to see their Airman during the pass and review but may/may not be located right next to their particular flight.
