This page is updated once per week, typically on Fridays after all arrival trainees have been assigned a flight. Once this occurs we will have an accurate account for all the flight numbers assigned to Squadrons receiving trainees.
Approximately 72HRS after the trainee has been assigned a FLT you will receive and phone call and/or text with their TRS/FLT information. This typically occurs by Friday the week of arrival but can sometimes be as late as the weekend. You may also receive a text from Sandboxx indicating your trainee has signed up for Sandboxx to send you information. Once the trainee has had their information processed by the Sandboxx team it will update your address book in the app and it will show their assigned TRS/FLT numbers.
Once you receive the TRS/FLT information from your trainee here is the address format to send letters. (This is the Correct Format and all you need to include on any letters once you get the exact TRS/FLT #):

Any specific information about your trainee can only be given to you by your trainee.
Keep in mind that the dates for your trainee can change if they are recycled due to disciplinary actions and/or not meeting BMT Standards. If you are planning on booking travel, we advise you to make sure your tickets/reservations are refundable if in the case your trainee must be recycled. If your trainee is recycled they will have an opportunity to inform their families/friends if it has occurred.
Passes to attend the ceremonies will be mailed out by the trainees themselves. They are usually sent out Week of Training 3. You should expect them to begin arriving by Week of Training 5 (Arrival week is considered Week Zero not Week One).
